About CAPRI
The Capital Area Prisoner ReEntry Initiative (CAPRI), launched by the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC), is dedicated to empowering individuals as they transition back into society after incarceration. Through a comprehensive support network, CAPRI connects clients with critical resources like job training, education and housing.
With a focus on seamless reintegration, the program facilitates collaboration among community partners, government agencies and employers. CAPRI also works to raise public awareness about reentry challenges while promoting community engagement. By organizing job fairs and clinics and tracking program outcomes, CAPRI strives to improve the lives of those reentering society, fostering successful reintegration and stronger communities.
