There’s no question about it, guys and gals! It’s a new world and you have to at least know the basics of technology, just to survive. It’s not like in the old days, where you can just fill out an application and walk in somewhere to get a job. Everything is done through your phone, which is really a tiny computer.
Here’s a guide by GEO that will help get you started:

You don’t have a computer? A phone? Go to the library, get yourself a library card. The cards are free, most libraries are on the bus line, and are open everyday pretty late. USE THE LIBRARY! Call it ‘your office,’ until you get one of your own. The public libraries in Baton Rouge are some of the best in the nation and are a wonderful resource for you. They are members of CAPRI, are ‘felon-friendly,’ so don’t be afraid to ask for help. You can use a computer and wifi anytime for free, print up to ten copies per day, check out ten books, movies, cd’s everyday! They have private rooms you can check out, mobile hotspots (which is wifi for your house) you can ‘borrow.’
So go back to #1 and get your library card!
