2026 Community Warrant Resolution Clinic
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) is proud to announce that the Community Warrant Resolution Clinic is returning to downtown Baton Rouge. This collaborative initiative, which brings together multiple local courts and community partners, provides individuals with outstanding bench warrants an opportunity to resolve their cases, reschedule court dates, and avoid potential arrests.
The 2026 clinic is scheduled for Friday, March 27th at 9am, and will take place at Baton Rouge City Court until 1pm (223 St. Louis Street), the 19th Judicial District Court and East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court (300 North Boulevard) until 3pm, with registration at City Hall (222 St. Louis Street). Participating courts include the 19th Judicial District Court, East Baton Rouge Parish Juvenile Court, East Baton Rouge Parish Family Court, and the Baton Rouge, Baker, and Zachary City Courts. This marks the third time multiple courts have come together in a shared downtown location to address a broad range of warrants, including traffic offenses, criminal cases (excluding violent felonies), and child support matters.
Participants will be able to meet with court representatives, discuss their cases, and take advantage of the opportunity to resolve issues or reschedule court appearances. The clinic aims to ease the burden on those with bench warrants, offering an alternative to arrest while ensuring they can address their legal obligations.
Expungement consultations will also be available. City Parish Government will provide free parking at the River Center West Parking Garage (499 St. Louis Street) for participants.
Participants in the 2026 Community Warrant Resolution Clinic are encouraged to register in advance at www.ebrcjcc.org. A help desk will also be available in front of City Hall, located at 222 St. Louis Street, to assist individuals with registration on the day of the clinic.
